The relatives of teens unaccounted for after a deadly fire at a venue in a Switzerland's ski resort are confronting an painful period of uncertainty for confirmed information and requesting clues about their children publicly.

The blaze devastated the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the small hours of January 1st. Confirmed video depict the roof structure igniting as beverages with sparklers are held aloft.

Emergency services have stated that it could take an extended period to identify the victims of the disaster, which killed four dozen individuals and hurt another over a hundred. A spokesperson stated on Friday that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with the process still underway to identify the final individuals.

In the waiting period, families and friends have been posting on online platforms to plead for clues about their loved ones who were present at the venue that fateful night.

Desperate Searches for the Unaccounted For

The location of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are still unconfirmed, according to an appeal from his mother.

The resident of a town near Lausanne, told a publication that she had returned to Lausanne to see if he was in the medical facility, while his other parent did the equivalent search in the capital, but could not find him.

"I'm living a nightmare, a nightmare. Either I find my son in the morgue, or I find him in intensive care. It's terrible," she stated.

She explained that some of his companions had been found with burns covering nearly half their bodies. "It's indescribable; they endured a terrifying ordeal."

The Italian government has said that six of its nationals remain missing.

The Italian Golf Federation has said that he is deceased, without mentioning the tragedy, paying tribute to a "talented young man who carried with him dedication and authentic values."

His father, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An representative has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is still pending.

Other Cases

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is likewise among the missing. His mother told reporters that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with a group and ended up at the venue.

"A close friend told me they escaped after the fire broke out and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a specific moment he couldn't see him anymore," she explained, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.

One of his teachers commented, "He was known for his good nature and smile, alongside great responsibility. He would frequently ask if help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds both Greek and Swiss citizenship but lives permanently in the country, was also present on that night, according to sources.

Her sibling has shared an appeal on social media, saying the family has had "no news" regarding the 15-year-old or the three friends she was with, who are also reported missing.

Officials from her country of origin say they are continuing to monitor the case.
