Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star maintains impressive social media audience
The young golfer will have numerous well-known supporters when she begins her professional golf debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns multiple golf courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Simply stay calm."
"He basically advised me to go out there and have fun," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in only three events this year and holds position 461 in AJGA listings.
Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.
"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.
"And he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge several the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially reaching the next generation.
The social media influencer has a massive following and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle label.
